Chinesefor Engineering is a supporting textbook for core general education courses forinternational students of engineering-related majors. It is also aprofessional Chinese textbook for speaking skills and a series of internationalChinese education textbooks for national first-class undergraduate majors ofShandong University.
The textbook is arranged basedon the scenes (or themes), and 16 common scenes in the field of engineering areselected (16 lessons in total). Each lesson includes six parts: characters inthis lesson, text, words, notes, exercises and extended reading. The textbookhas a wide range of contents and numerous learning scenes, which conforms tothe teaching needs and characteristics of the majors.
